A popular alcoholic seltzer drink has been urgently recalled nationwide over fears it will cause illness if consumed.
Moon Dog Brewery is recalling its six per cent seltzers in the summer berry and grape flavours due to secondary fermentation.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand issued the warning on Friday, saying the products were hazardous as “products containing excess alcohol and carbonation may cause illness/injury if consumed”.
The affected flavours can be bought within a mixed 10 pack or a mixed 3×10 pack and have been available for sale at Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars across all states and territories excluding Tasmania.
It has only been available at Liquorland stores in Tasmania.
The drinks include the best before dates of August 1, 2023; August 2, 2023 and August 30, 2023.
“Consumers should not drink or open this product, and should dispose of it safely,” Food Standards Australia warned.
Anyone who purchased the affected product is asked to contact Moon Dog Brewery for safe disposal instructions and to arrange for reimbursement.
